These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CABot, a WhatsApp automation platform for Chartered Accountant firms, operated by MageComp ("we", "us", or "our"). By registering for or using CABot, you ("CA Firm" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any part of the CABot service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use CABot.
2. Service Description
CABot provides a multi-tenant WhatsApp automation SaaS platform that enables CA firms to:
- Automate client queries via WhatsApp using AI-powered responses
- Send ITR and GST filing reminders to registered clients
- Deliver financial documents (e.g., Form 16, ITR acknowledgements) on WhatsApp
- Manage broadcast messages and scheduled reminders
- Manage leads and client interaction history
Features may be added, modified, or discontinued at our discretion with reasonable notice.
3. Eligibility & Registration
CABot is intended for professional use by qualified Chartered Accountants and CA firms in India. By registering, you represent that:
- You are a registered CA or operate a CA firm in India
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have authority to bind your firm to these Terms
- All information provided during registration is accurate and current
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity occurring under your account
- Notifying us immediately at support@magecomp.com of any unauthorised access
- Ensuring that staff or team members with access to your account comply with these Terms
5. WhatsApp Business API Compliance
CABot operates via Meta's WhatsApp Business API. You agree to:
- Comply with WhatsApp Business Policy and Meta's Commerce Policy
- Obtain explicit opt-in consent from clients before initiating WhatsApp communications
- Not use CABot to send spam, unsolicited messages, or content prohibited by Meta's policies
- Not impersonate any person or entity via the platform
Violations of Meta's policies may result in your WhatsApp Business Account being suspended. MageComp is not liable for such suspensions.
6. Subscription & Billing
CABot is offered on a subscription basis. The following terms apply:
- Subscription fees are charged in advance for the selected plan period
- A 7-day free trial is available for new registrations (no credit card required). You may subscribe to a paid plan at any time during the trial without waiting for it to end.
- Payments are processed via Razorpay. By subscribing, you agree to Razorpay's terms
- All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR); GST is charged extra unless stated otherwise
- If a subscription payment fails and the subscription period has expired, the WhatsApp bot will be deactivated automatically. Reactivation occurs immediately upon successful payment.
- Referral credits and coupon discounts are subject to applicable terms and cannot be combined unless explicitly stated
7. Refund Policy
Given the digital nature of the service:
- Subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has commenced
- If you experience a verified technical failure attributable solely to our platform, a pro-rated credit may be considered at our discretion
- Trial period users are not entitled to refunds as no charges are incurred
For billing disputes, contact us within 7 days of the charge at support@magecomp.com.
8. Acceptable Use
You must not use CABot to:
- Send fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading communications to clients
- Transmit malware, viruses, or any harmful code
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract source code or data from the platform
- Use the platform in a way that could damage, overburden, or impair its infrastructure
- Violate any applicable Indian or international law or regulation
9. Data Ownership & Client Data
You retain ownership of all data you upload or generate through CABot (including client lists, documents, and message content). By using CABot, you grant MageComp a limited licence to process this data solely for the purpose of delivering the service.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of all data you upload or transmit through CABot, including client personal data.
9A. Support Access & Account Transparency
MageComp support personnel may access your CABot account only for the purpose of providing technical support, resolving a reported issue, or investigating a security incident. The following safeguards are always in place:
- Every support access is logged with timestamp, IP address, and the identity of the support agent
- You will receive an immediate WhatsApp notification at your registered number when your account is accessed by MageComp support
- Support access is never used for commercial profiling, data mining, or sharing your data with any third party

9B. DPDP Act 2023 — Your Data Rights
In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access: Request details of personal data processed by us
- Right to Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your account and all associated data. We will complete deletion within 30 days. Billing records are retained as required by applicable Indian law.
- Right to Grievance Redressal: Lodge a complaint and receive a response within 30 days
You can submit a data deletion request directly from your CABot admin panel under Bot Config → Data Privacy → Request Account & Data Deletion, or by emailing support@magecomp.com.
10. Intellectual Property
All software, code, designs, trademarks, and content that constitute the CABot platform are the exclusive property of MageComp. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the platform. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from our platform or content.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- MageComp's total liability for any claim arising from use of CABot shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of business, data, or revenue
- We are not responsible for actions taken by Meta/WhatsApp including account suspensions, policy changes, or API unavailability
12. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party services (Meta API, Railway, Razorpay, etc.) or events beyond our reasonable control.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate the account:
- By you: At any time by cancelling your subscription from the admin panel. Access continues until the end of the paid billing period.
- By us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or conduct harmful to the platform or other users.
Upon termination, your data is retained for 90 days (for potential retrieval) and then permanently deleted.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
15. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered CA firms at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use of CABot after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
